About This Scholarship
The Bihar Post-Matric Scholarship (PMS) is managed by the Education Department, Government of Bihar through the Medhasoft portal (pmsonline.bih.nic.in). Designed to provide direct, transparent fee assistance to students belonging to Backward Classes (BC), Extremely Backward Classes (EBC), SC, and ST categories.

Who Can Apply?

- Income or category criteria: Below ₹3,00,000 per annum • Categories: SC, ST, OBC.

Bihar Domicile (Residential) Certificate
Issued by Revenue Officer (RO) or SDO through ServicePlus Bihar.
Caste Certificate (BC/EBC/SC/ST)
Valid revenue caste certificate issued on ServicePlus.
Current Financial Year Income Certificate
Showing annual family income under ₹3 Lakh.
Institute Bonafide Certificate with Fee Structure
Bonafide certificate on institution letterhead specifying academic year and fee details.
Aadhaar Card Linked to Bank Account
Aadhaar number verified via OTP on Medhasoft portal.

Upload Bonafide & Fee Structure

Institutional Scrutiny
Institute nodal officer verifies the student from their admin dashboard.
Physical Committee & District Sanction
District level committee approves the scholarship and DBT payment is issued.
